Last updated: 22 June 2026
1. Acceptance
By playing Darkmass.io you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
2. The service
Darkmass.io is a free, browser-based game provided on an "as is" basis, with no user accounts. We provide it on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of availability, uptime, performance, or continued existence. We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the game or any feature, including advertising, at any time and without notice or liability.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to cheat, automate, bot, script, or exploit bugs; to interfere with, overload, attack, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the game, its servers, or other players; to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service; or to use names or content that are unlawful, hateful, harassing, infringing, that impersonate others, or that include other people's personal information. We may filter or replace names, and we may restrict or end your access at any time, at our discretion, without liability.
4. Names you choose
You are responsible for the name you enter. We may sanitise, filter, or replace it, including by showing other players an automatically generated alias. Do not enter personal data as a name.
5. Intellectual property
The Darkmass.io game, name, code, and visual design belong to us or our licensors. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to play the game for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, or build a competing or derivative service from it.
6. Advertising
The game may display third-party advertising, such as Google AdSense. We do not endorse and are not responsible for advertisers, their content, or your dealings with them, which are solely between you and the advertiser.
7. No warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the game is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the game. As the game is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the maximum extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Termination
We may suspend or end your access at any time and for any reason. You may stop using the game at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If you continue to play after a change, you accept the updated terms.
